Come and join us in the Park with one of Auckland’s wonderful Latin Bands … BANDA LATINA
Once again BANDA LATINA has been invited back by Auckland City Council to provide this wonderful and entertaining event.
Banda Latina have a rich and varied exotic Latin style. A dance band whose repertoire is Modern Latin American, with popular Latin tunes from Bolero and “cha-cha” to salsa, lambada, merengue, famous Latin rock Santana tunes.
Bring your picnic blankets and your dancing feet to enjoy this most enjoyable afternoon suitable for all ages.

Salsa con Coco Performance Team 2012 : Recruiting new members

Calling all Salsa Dance Lovers, any level, style, age or background to be part of the most successful Salsa Team in New Zealand.
We have created a very fun Bachata and Salsa Choreography 3 minutes long to perform at various events throughout the year. However, performing is not compulsory.
History of Salsa con Coco Performance Team:
* 2006 – First Place – N.Z. Salsa Nationals : Auckland Town Hall
* 2007 – First Place – N.Z. Salsa Nationals : Auckland Town Hall
* 2008 – Represented N.Z. in the Sydney Salsa Congress
* 2009 – Represented N.Z. in the 4th World Salsa Championships Miami, U.S.A.
* 2010 – First Place – N.Z. Salsa Nationals : Telstra Clear Centre
* 2011 – 1st & 2nd Place Runners-up – N.Z. Salsa Championships (Two Teams)
* 2012 – Representing N.Z. in the Sydney Latin Festival (4 February 2012)

Trinity Hall Salsa Classes for 2012 re-commence this Monday

Salsa classes at Trinity Hall will be re-starting this Monday 9:01:12 for the New Year.
Please come along and Salsa with Coco on Mondays.

No Partner required. No experience required. Fun and Relaxed atmosphere with Native South American instructor who breaks down all the moves so that everyone has the opportunity to learn them.
